In Irish folklore spiders are respected, considered lucky, and deeply tied to superstitions. Often viewed as guardians, weavers of fate or brightness of wealth. Killing a spider is believed to bring bad luck or cause stormy weather. They are seen as symbols of wisdom, healing, and creativity.

Built from real turkey, fowl bones, this 5lb skeletal spider rises approx 7.5″ from the center a top a padded cloth 25 ” x 21″ canvas and custom wood frame.
