Ollphéist

Ollphéist

The most famous Irish legend of a large dragon is
the Oilliphéist (or Ollphéist), a massive, serpent-like monster believed to have carved the course of the River Shannon. As a “great worm” or sea serpent, it was a terrifying creature of early Irish mythology that appeared in tales of Saint Patrick and was known for swallowing a piper whole.

Built from real bovine, swine, turkey, fowl, and tilapia fish bones, this 35lb dragon is a full skeletal hybrid rising approx 15″ from the center, a few inches on two sides and sits a top a 4 ft x 4 ft vinyl canvas and custom wood frame.
